Februar 2017 bei Nautilus Tauchreisen. Endlich ist f\u00fcr mich ein lang ersehnter Wunsch in Erf\u00fcllung gegangen und ich konnte, wie ich finde, gerade noch rechtzeitig nach Cuba.<\/p>\n<p>Wie gesagt, ich wollte schon seit l\u00e4ngerer Zeit dieses Land bereisen, um eben noch das \u201ealte\u201c Cuba kennen zu lernen. Als ich dies das erste Mal erw\u00e4hnt habe, wusste ich noch nicht, dass man dort auch tauchen kann \u2013 aber umso besser!<\/p>\n<p>Somit bin ich diesen Herbst endlich &#8211; zusammen mit der sehr erfahrenen Taucherin Petra, die unser Team von Nautilus Tauchreisen seit Jahrzehnten auf der boot in D\u00fcsseldorf unterst\u00fctzt\u00a0 &#8211; nach Cuba aufgebrochen. Von M\u00fcnchen bzw. D\u00fcsseldorf ging es mit der Iberia \u00fcber Madrid nach Havanna. Am Flughafen, nachdem wir unsere Einreisestempel bekommen und das Gep\u00e4ck in Empfang genommen hatten, wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter von Cubanacan (unsere Agentur vor Ort) herzlich in Empfang genommen. Wie von meinen Kollegen empfohlen, haben wir zuerst noch unsere mitgebrachten Euros in die einheimische W\u00e4hrung CUC umgetauscht, bevor es dann mit dem Oldtimer in die Altstadt von Havanna ging. Der Fahrer war echt super! Wie mir hinterher meine Reisebegleiterin erz\u00e4hlte, ist er einen kleinen Umweg gefahren, so dass wir im Dunkeln u. a. den beleuchteten &#8222;Plaza de la Revoluci\u00f3n\u201c bestaunen konnten. Weiter ging die Fahrt an dem &#8222;Malec\u00f3n\u201c entlang, direkt in die Casa Colon House (Privatunterkunft, eine sog. Casa Particular). Der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Vorteil unserer Casa war, dass diese sehr zentral direkt in der Altstadt von Havanna liegt. Gleich zu Beginn ist mir aufgefallen, dass das Zimmer und das Bad zwar klein, aber sehr sauber sind. Da es bereits sp\u00e4t am Abend war und wir von der Anreise ersch\u00f6pft, aber gl\u00fccklich waren, gingen wir recht bald ins Bett.<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag, nach einem leckeren Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck, besichtigten wir die Altstadt von Havanna. Petra war ein echter Schatz und zeigte mir s\u00e4mtliche Highlights der Stadt. Anfangs schlenderten wir \u00fcber den Prado direkt auf das &#8222;Gran Teatro de La Habana\u201c (Oper) und dem &#8222;El Capitolio\u201c (Capitol) zu. Vor der Oper gibt es einen Platz, an dem man Tag und Nacht s\u00e4mtliche \u201eaufgemotzte\u201c Oldtimer bestaunen kann. Au\u00dferdem befinden sich dort einige Hotels und was soll ich sagen, da ja auch im Urlaub niemand aus seiner Haut heraus kann, kam dann auch gleich die Touristikerin in mir durch und ich musste mir unbedingt das Hotel Parque Central anschauen. Das sch\u00f6nste an dem Hotel ist der Poolbereich auf dem Dach. Von dort kann man herrlich den Blick \u00fcber die &#8222;La Habana Vieja\u201c (Altstadt) bis hin zum Meer schweifen lassen. Da wir aber noch einiges vorhatten, ging unser Spaziergang weiter durch das enge Gassengewirr der kubanischen Hauptstadt. Beim Herumschlendern kamen wir so nach und nach an zahlreichen Prachtbauten, Monumenten und Statuen, sowie am Museum de la Revoluci\u00f3n, an dem Plaza de Veja, an der Cathedral de la Habana, usw. vorbei. Nat\u00fcrlich zeigte mir Petra auch die ber\u00fchmte Bar &#8222;El Floridita\u201c, in der Hemingway stets seinen Daiquiri trank. Da es in der Bar eiskalt war, haben wir allerdings auf unseren Drink verzichtet! Am fr\u00fchen Abend gingen wir zur\u00fcck Richtung Oper. Neben der Oper befindet sich das Traditionshotel &#8222;Inglaterra\u201c mit seiner sch\u00f6nen Dachterrasse. Ein wenig ersch\u00f6pft lie\u00dfen wir uns auf den St\u00fchlen nieder, bestellten den ersten Mojito, stie\u00dfen auf den Urlaub an und genossen unseren ersten Sonnenuntergang auf itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Am zweiten Tag fuhren wir mit einem Sammeltransfer, einem nagelneuen Bus, Richtung Pinar del Rio, in das weltber\u00fchmte Tabakanbaugebiet und von dort weiter in das Vinales Tal. Hier war ich fast ein wenig entt\u00e4uscht. Ich dachte, bei dem von uns gebuchten Sammeltransfer handelte es ich um einen Bus, in dem Einheimische und Touristen gemeinsam fahren. Dem war allerdings nicht so. Auch war es nicht das letzte Mal, dass ich feststellen musste, dass die Kubaner strickt zwischen Einheimische und Touristen beim Transport trennen. F\u00fcr uns Urlauber hat es den Vorteil, dass man sich auf eine gute Organisation verlassen kann, Transferbusse bzw. Transfer-Taxi \u00fcberp\u00fcnktlich sind und oftmals die Fahrer bereits auf einen warten.<\/p>\n<p>In Vinales selbst schliefen wir in dem kubanischen drei Sterne-Hotel La Ermita. Hotel bleibt Hotel und drei Sterne bleiben drei Sterne, auch da konnte ich im Vergleich zu anderen L\u00e4ndern, keine nennenswerte Unterschiede feststellen. ABER, es war trotzdem zu 100% die richtige Wahl, denn der Blick von dort ist gigantisch und einzigartig. Ohne diese Aussicht, die wir schon am Morgen beim Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck genie\u00dfen konnten, h\u00e4tte ich die von der UNESCO ausgezeichnete Kulturlandschaft mit seinen Kalkfelsen, nie so verinnerlichen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Das lebhafte Dorf Vinales liegt im Tal und ist ca. 20 Gehminuten von dem Hotel La Ermita entfernt.<\/p>\n<p>Am Tag nach unserer Ankunft schauten wir uns die touristischen Highlights, das &#8222;Mural of Prehistory\u201c und die &#8222;Cueva del Indio\u201c an. In Vinales haben wir erneut die kubanische Hilfsbereitschaft sch\u00e4tzten gelernt und erfuhren dabei, dass man mit Rohrzucker bei einer Verletzung extrem gut die Blutung stillen itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Am darauffolgenden Tag war es endlich soweit, unser Fahrer wartete wieder einmal \u00fcberp\u00fcnktlich vor dem Hotel und nach dem Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck ging es endlich zum Tauchgebiet Maria la Gorda.<\/p>\n<p>Erst ging die Fahrt zur\u00fcck nach Pinar del Rio, wieder vorbei an den Tabakanbaufeldern, hinein in das scheinbar nie enden wollende Naturschutzgebiet, bis irgendwann am Horizont das spiegelglatte Meer auftauchte! Von dort ging die Fahrt rasant am Meer entlang, bis direkt zum Resort. \u00a0In Maria la Gorda\u00a0 wurden wir herzlich empfangen und konnten, fr\u00fcher als \u00fcblich unsere Zimmer beziehen. Kaum angekommen, machten wir uns auf, die weitl\u00e4ufige Anlage zu erkunden, unseren ersten Sonnenuntergang am Meer zu genie\u00dfen und uns auf den morgigen Tauchtag zu freuen. Ich habe im Voraus sehr oft geh\u00f6rt, dass man vom Essen auf Cuba nichts erwarten sollte. Somit war ich \u00fcberrascht, dass es jeden Abend eine Auswahl an Huhn-, Rind- und Schweinefleisch gab. Auch wurde jeden Abend eine Suppe, Reis, Nudeln, S\u00fc\u00dfspeisen, Obst, usw. aufgetischt. Klar die Abwechslung hat gefehlt, Gem\u00fcse gab es leider nur aus dem Glas und ein Festtags-Men\u00fc ist sicherlich etwas anderes, aber was erwartet man in einem Land, indem selbst die Einheimischen an Vieles nicht herankommen?! Unsere Reiseleiterin Kenia erz\u00e4hlte uns z. B. dass auch sie ganz schwer an Tomaten und Gurken heran kommt. Ich pers\u00f6nlich finde, daf\u00fcr sollte einfach Verst\u00e4ndnis aufgebracht werden!<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcber Nacht schlug leider das Wetter um. So fielen unsere ersten, geplanten Tauchg\u00e4nge im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ins Wasser. Da hilft dann alles nichts und wir unternahmen einen ausgedehnten Sparziergang, um uns wenigstens ein bisschen zu bewegen. Am darauffolgenden Tag war es dann soweit und es ging unter Wasser. Was wir dort zu Gesicht bekamen, war aus meiner Sicht, karibisch sch\u00f6n. Auf jeden Fall geh\u00f6ren die \u00fcppig bewachsenen Canyons, an denen sich so manch kleines Tierchen entdecken l\u00e4sst, zu den Highlights von Maria la Gorda. An einem Nachmittag sind wir gef\u00fchlt, keine 30 Meter geschwommen und haben an nur einem Fleck mehrere Krebse, Langusten, einen Ammen-Hai, zwei Mur\u00e4nen, zwei unterschiedliche Stachelrochen und noch mehr entdeckt.<\/p>\n<p>Pro Tag wurden drei Tauchg\u00e4nge angeboten. Wobei es sich dabei am Vormittag \/ Mittag immer um einen 2-Tank- Tauchgang und am Nachmittag um einen einzelnen Tauchgang handelte. Die Crew war stets bem\u00fcht, auf die W\u00fcnsche der einzelnen Taucher einzugehen. So habe ich zum Beispiel erlebt, dass nach dem Nachtmittagstauchgang, nicht weit vom Hotel entfernt, auf einmal das Boot angehalten hat und ein P\u00e4rchen samt Guide und kompletter Tauchausr\u00fcstung erneut ins Wasser gesprungen ist. Auf meine Frage \u201ewas sie denn machen?\u201c, meinte die Frau nur TAUCHEN! J Die Beiden hatten gerade ihren offiziell letzten Tauchgang absolviert und wollten, zum Abschluss nicht noch einmal bis zum Hotel fahren, sondern anstelle dessen dorthin tauchen. \u00dcbrigens getaucht wird stets mit Guide. Vor jedem Tauchgang werden die Gruppen von den Guides eingeteilt. Wobei die Divemaster wirklich bem\u00fcht sind und darauf achten, dass Taucher mit gleicher oder \u00e4hnlicher Taucherfahrung zusammen tauchen. Die M\u00f6glichkeit einen Nachttauchgang zu absolvieren, hat es ebenfalls gegeben. Generell kann ich nur sagen, dass die Guides und die Tauchbasenleiter wirklich hilfsbereit sind und wenn man einen Wunsch hat, dann muss man halt einfach nett fragen!!!<\/p>\n<p>Fazit: F\u00fcr mich hei\u00dft Maria la Gorda einfaches und entspanntes WOHLF\u00dcHL-Tauchen!<\/p>\n<p>Nach drei Tauchg\u00e4ngen am Tag kam bei mir der Punkt, wo ich beschlossen habe, das Meer auch vom Strand aus zu genie\u00dfen und so haben wir uns jedes Mal nach dem Tauchen an die Snackbar gesetzt, meistens mit einem Cocktail in der Hand, um die fantastischen Sonnenunterg\u00e4nge zu genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<p>Zu mir hat ca. ein Jahr bevor ich dann tats\u00e4chlich nach Maria la Gorda gefahren bin, ein Kunde am Telefon gesagt, er freue sich erneut auf Maria la Gorda, denn dort kann er die Ruhe, die weiten Str\u00e4nde und schlichtweg das einfache Leben genie\u00dfen. Sprich, einfach mal komplett abschalten und herunter fahren. Als ich einmal am Strand entlang schlenderte, musste ich an seine Worte denken und ihm Recht geben. Auch mich hat Maria la Gorda in den Bann gezogen, auch ich konnte komplett \u201erunter fahren\u201c und den Augenblick, sei es unter Wasser oder an Land, in vollen Z\u00fcgen genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<p>So verabschiedete ich mich nach sieben N\u00e4chten schweren Herzens von diesem liebgewonnenen Ort. Zur\u00fcck ging die Fahrt wieder auf der holprigen Stra\u00dfe bis nach Pinar del Rio und dann direkt weiter nach Havanna.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" Dieses Mal schliefen wir in der Casa Maribel, die ebenfalls in der &#8222;Habana de Vieja\u201c liegt und sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet ist. Da unser R\u00fcckflug erst sp\u00e4t am Abend war, hatten wir fast noch einen weiteren Tag in Havanna. Erneut schlenderten wir durch die Altstadt, ich kaufte noch Zigarillos (als Mitbringsel) und Petra kubanischen Kaffee. Auch stellte Petra fest, dass es immer mehr Restaurants und Bars mit Livemusik gibt und so das Leben in der Stadt immer mehr pulsiert. Nichts desto trotz ist die Stadt extrem sicher geblieben. Man kann bedenkenlos durch dunkle Gassen schlendern, ohne dabei auch nur einen Funken Angst zu versp\u00fcren. Am Nachmittag fuhren wir dann zu der ber\u00fchmtesten Eisdiele von Cuba: &#8222;Coppelia\u201c. So lie\u00dfen wir entspannt unseren Urlaub ausklingen, bevor es ins kalte Deutschland zur\u00fcckging.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
